Deciding on a career path can be an overwhelming decision. Many high school and college students struggle to pick a major and a future profession. As a parent, it can be difficult to watch your child go through this period of stressful indecision.

With my career counseling services, you and your child will receive a personalized approach to help make informed decisions about current and future career decisions, discovering potential career paths that bests supports their unique skills and interests. This helps them feel more confident and excited about the future and eases the anxiety that many high school and college students feel during this important time. If you hear your child asking, “What do I want to do with my life?” or “What should I major in?” career counseling is the perfect solution.

How It Works

After a brief phone consultation, I’ll create a customized assessment package for your child to take at home. This package will help determine your child’s strengths, interests, and values and can include assessments such as Myers-Briggs, Strong Interest Inventory, Work Styles Inventory, Self-Directed Search, and Career Thoughts Inventory. After reviewing the results, I’ll produce a written report with my recommendations, strategies, and next steps and meet with you and your child to discuss them.

Rates

For $600, your child will receive an assessment package and a written report with strategies, recommendations, and action items. This cost also covers a 1 hour counseling session to discuss the results.
